it's ali, and I can't see the need for a jumpstop and the chainguard at the same time, with a triple chainset the guard should catch a wayward chain going down..

I don't have the Speed yet and the Catrike site doesn't say how many teeth are on the supplied chainring. I should know pretty soon. Either one looks like it would work, and be way better than nothing.
